MEI always appreciates the models who choose to help us train our attendees in our aesthetic medical training courses. Please find some of our most frequently asked questions about modeling with us answered below. Don’t see your question addressed below? How can I be a model for MEI seminars?
Models are asked to register online or by phone at (512) 308-6404. Once MEI has your contact information, we will reach out to determine whether any of the seminars held in your area work for you. Please put down a $50 deposit during registration to secure your spot at a particular seminar. Certain geographical areas fill up quickly; in these situations,models are selected on a first come, first served basis.
Model FAQ
Essentially, you can choose to be treated with BOTOX® from your nose up, and you can choose to be treated with dermal filler in the areas around your mouth.
Areas that can be treated with BOTOX® during the basic seminar:
- Forehead Lines
- Frown Lines
- Bunny Lines
- Eyebrow Shaping
- Crow’s Feet
Areas that can be treated with Dermal Filler during the basic seminar:
- Vermillion Border / Lip Lines
- Lip Volume / Lip Definition
- Marionette Lines
- Mouth Corners
- Philtrum and Peri-Oral Wrinkles
- Naso-Labial Folds / Nose to Mouth Lines
In our Advanced Botox and Dermal Filler training, our attendees can offer a higher level of care to help treat any of your target areas.
Areas that can be treated with BOTOX® during the advanced seminar:
- Perioral rhytides (lipstick lines, sunbeam or smokers wrinkles)
- Injections around and under the eyes
- Melomental folds
- Relaxation of the upper lip and chin
- Axillary hyperhidrosis
- Neck rejuvenation
- Nose augmentation and breast lift
Areas that can be treated with Dermal Filler during the advanced seminar:
- Perioral rhytides
- Treatment around the eyes
- Cheek volume restoration
- Metatarsal fat pad injection and breast augmentation
- Neck rejuvenation
- Nose augmentation
- Volume restoration (cheek hollows)
- Scar treatment
All procedures are performed by licensed medical professionals (class participants) under the close supervision of our licensed instructors.
For the BOTOX®/Dermal Filler seminars, we only use FDA-approved BOTOX® (diluted at the recommended dosage), Restylane, Juvederm Plus, Juvederm Ultra Plus and Perlane.
Appointment times and details are always emailed to models the Wednesday before the seminar.
Your $50 deposit will be applied to your final charges, which are calculated based on the amount of product used that day. If your entire deposit amount is not used, the balance will be refunded. If you are unable to make your appointment, your deposit will be refunded provided you give MEI at least 72-hour notice before your appointment time. There is no refund if less than 72-hour notice is given or you fail to appear.
That’s okay! You will be given a professional consultation prior to the performance of any procedures. We encourage you to ask questions during your consultation, and to tell the instructor what is bothering YOU. Our instructors are happy to provide their professional opinion -- feel free to follow or ignore those suggestions. Just do what feels right for you.
On the day of the seminar, you can pay the balance (after deposit) of any fees with cash or a credit card.

Please send a photo with a note explaining your situation to our customer service email (info@medicalestheticinstitute.com). Although results cannot be guaranteed for any of the procedures, MEI will review the specifics of your case and work to rectify the situation. We want everyone, our models included, to walk away feeling confident and happy with their experience.
