8-Hour Dental Course for Nurses, Doctors, Dentists and All Licensed Healthcare Professionals

This comprehensive 8-hour training program utilizes Botulinum Toxin Type A (BOTOX®) to address various dental and facial conditions, such as hypertrophy of the masseter, orthodontic therapy, denture treatment, migraine therapy, TMJ (TMD) disorders, bruxism, oromandibular dystonia, and mandibular spasm.

Under the close supervision of their licensed instructor (DDS/DMD), participants will receive didactic and hands-on instruction to learn how to manage the complete application process, from patient assessment to aftercare, including:

  • Integrating Botulinum Toxin Type A into everyday dental and medical practice to deliver safe, predictable, and comfortable treatment.
  • Discuss the history, safety, mechanism of action, and preparation (reconstitution) of Botulinum Toxin Type A products.
  • Describe the pharmacology, indications and contraindications of Botulinum Toxin Type A products.
  • The didactic session discusses BOTOX®, Dysport®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau®. The products used in the hands-on session of training include BOTOX®, Xeomin®, and Jeuveau®.
  • Discuss the client selection process for treatment procedures.
  • Discuss compliant patient and treatment documentation.
  • Practice effective injection techniques on live models using proper anatomical landmarks.

All products and training models are provided at no additional cost (unless the participant opts to be a model). Participants interested in practicing specific applications of botulinum toxin are encouraged to bring their own models.

The training includes course manuals, sample consent and treatment forms, resource list, and a certificate of training upon successful completion of the course. Participants can also satisfy up to 8 CE credits as part of ongoing professional development.

The course will begin at 8:00AM and conclude at 5:00PM.
